The owner of the house we are currently renting had the huge mesquite tree cut down two years ago. I convinced them to give me some of the logs. Thanks to the dry Vegas heat they are nice and dry so I started using my lathe more while I wait for other things to dry. Love the grain! This is only the first coat of @odiesoil on it and it already pops! It works great as a friction polish!
